Show & Tell Friday: Vintage Bottles & Sea Shells

A few months back, we went to a wholesale gift show and found a woman selling these lovely antique bottles to which she had soldered various sea shells. I had never seen anything like it before and instantly wanted a few for myself.
I purchased the two small bottles pictured below.
Sometime later we went to an antiques flea market and found this fabulous antique bottle with the star fish....the seller said she made all the items in her booth and this was an old French bottle....one-of-a-kind.
I, of course had to make that purchase and here is how I'm displaying them at this time.
Please visit Cindy at My Romantic Home to see many more participants in Show and Tell Friday.
Have an enjoyable weekend......your comments are always appreciated.

This is the way I'm displaying them now.

Very unique. I just had a party last month and used vintage bottles just like these at each place setting with ribbon and a single rose for each lady to take home as a favor. These are very pretty. Great idea.

I have tons of apothecary jars filled with seashells that I've picked up on our local beaches....but this?!! THIS is one terrific way to display 'em. I like YOUR idea much better.

I love sea shells and anything ocean related. These bottles are something I've not seen before either. How lucky for you to have found them in two different places and have them go perfectly together! I like how you have them displayed.

Hi Lenore...

Just read your sweet notes...so happy that you came by and thank you so much for all of your sweet compliments!!!

I wanted to leave you the link to Ed's Flikr toys...it's where I frame my photos. The photos in my header are framed with an effect called frosted glass from the framer option on that page! I also have Picasa and used it to put the header together...but I also use Ed's Flikr mosaic maker as well!

Here is the link...have lots of fun, my friend!!!
