Show & Tell Friday: A Thankful Thanksgiving

We were not at home for Thanksgiving this year but at our son's home in Las Vegas.  I cooked the meal in his kitchen and as all of you know, cooking in someone else's kitchen is quite a challenge.
Here are just a few photos of the meal.
Please go over to visit Cindy at My Romantic Home to see what the other participants have in store for you.
This first photo is of brussel sprouts.....hubby brought them home from the store and I had never seen them like this.....did you?
By the way, my son BAKED the brussel sprouts on the B-B-Que and they were tasty and not bitter at all, as they have been in the past.

This is an Apple Crostata that I found the recipe here......this photo really doesn't do it justice.  It was quite delicious!
Hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving.

Your lovely comments make me smile!
Have an enjoyable weekend.

Made me hungry all over again, except for the brussel sprouts! You know, my Hubby had to eat those when he was a kid. I've never, ever had one. Ever.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I guess I am one of the odd ones that likes brussel sprouts. Of course we don't call them that at my house because if I did my kids wouldn't eat them, so instead we call them "baby cabbages" because they look like teeny tiny heads of cabbage to us. It works and my kids eat them up. Everything looks lovely by the way!

Thank you for stopping by to see my new doll that I shared on Show & Tell Friday at Cindy's My Romantic Home. I have gotten her out of her Thanksgiving outfit & have her up for Christmas in a whole new vingette. I hope you will stop by again to see my post for that.

The food looks wonderful!!! That apple dessert looks like I could put a scoop of ice cream or whipping cream on top & enjoy every single bite! And no, I have never seen brussel sprouts like that or heard of them fixed on the grill. Is there nothing a guy won't try grilling? Thanks for sharing.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Your Thanksgiving dinner looks wonderful. Ours was much the same as always traditions don't change much in our home. I look forward to it every year.
