Mosaic Monday: Christmas Around Town

I wanted to post a few photos of some shots I took while doing some Christmas shopping last week....again, I felt like I had to take the photos surreptitiously  as many shops don't want photos of their displays taken.
Hope you enjoy !

Thanks for looking in and please pop over to see Mary at Little Red House for more Mosaic Monday participants.
Your lovely comments are greatly appreciated!

Love all the Christmas decorations. Did you have to ask permission at each place.

Very Pretty! I have asked permission to take photos and explained how I would use them on my blog & link to their site (it would be free advertising for them) - then received a very reluctant response, so took the photos - thanked them and ended up deleting them. Their loss!

Beautiful...I've never really understood and no one has been able to explain when I ask.

Very pretty! I don't understand why the shops don't want their picture taken when blogging about them is free advertising - ???

Anyway, I enjoyed the tour very much!!! Have a beautiful Monday, Lenore!

Fun festive window views displayed in a lovely way. I usually ask for permission before taking pictures and I've had a variety of experiences when photographing displays ... sometimes they're happy to let me do so while other times they're worried about it.
Hugs and blessings,

Hi Lenore, Thanks so much for visiting me. I love your mosaic. Can you believe I have not been out shopping yet but plan to do so at the end of this week. I did all my shopping over the internet but I really feel the need to see some beautiful store displays. Christmas would be the same without that. ~ Happy Holidays ~ Lynn

OHH I love to peek in little shops and homes when we are driving at night. We just did a house tour over the weekend in our little town and it was so much fun. We saw 5 homes and a winery. Unfortunitly we couldn't take any photos but I do like yours.

Well these sneaky pictures are absolutely beautiful. I know what you mean about taking photos in shops. It's tricky.
I love hearing from you sweet.

Hi Lenore!
You are right, the cookies would be good with some tea.
I'm so glad you stopped by my blog.
Yours is so nice. Love the Christmas decorations. I wonder how far we live from each other?
