We’ve been having a very unusual week for southern CA in that it has rained almost the entire week and has rained VERY hard.
I managed to snap this photo from my back yard on Wednesday morning just as the sun was coming up and we had a few hours between storms.
I ran outside to get this photo of our lone rose left on the bush…..just as I was taking the photos, the rain started up again and I had to get back inside.
Now it’s absolutely POURING again, with some hail and thunder and lightening and it’s nearly black outside.
My hubby and our 8 year old grandson just went out for a walk before the downpour…..they have a large umbrella, but I’m afraid they will be soaked when they get back. I know the 8 year old will be having a great time…..I don’t know about hubby!
Please pop over to Cindy’s My Romantic Home to see what all the other participants have in store for you.
Thanks for the visit……I LOVE when you take the time to comment.

It has been a downpour this week in Norcal too! Your rose is beautiful. Hard to believe it's still hanging in there in January. Stay dry! --Delores
Pouring here in Central California too! I've had to spend every recess inside with my students this week. We're all going a little stir crazy! More rain tomorrow - oh dear.
It's been raining cats and dogs here as well. I might be forced to get the ark out once again.
Your rose is lovely. I can't wait for springtime in Arkansas.
I have been reading about your weather, you captured a beautiful rose pic!! Thanks for sharing
You can't beat a beautiful rose.

Would really enjoy your company today if you have time to stop by.
Wow, your sunset photo looks like a professional took it! I love it! How nice to wake up to that. What a great way to start the day.
Have a lovely weekend,
Tammy
I love your sunrise shot and the rose is pretty too-it is hard for me to believe you would still have a rose to photograph-coming from P.E.I.

Your rose pictures are lovely, raindrops and all!
I miss my roses, can't wait for them to start blooming again. Thanks for reminding me that time will come.
Stay dry!!!
Thankfully the sun is shiny here in New York.
