Well, okay, you may have noticed that I've not been blogging for quite a while. In my defense, (do I really need one?....lol) Mr AVO and I have been out of town on a family vacation for almost 3 weeks, and then when we returned, LIFE got in the way....if you know what I mean.
Well, I'm here now and wanted to show you some of the places we traveled.
Hope you enjoy this little piece of Lancaster County, PA.

I just love Lancaster County! My husband and I often took our children there when they were young. Happy Mosaic Monday!

Very beautiful small town. There's a certain humor in the "No Tourist" sign. I would have found it funny and taken a picture too!
Great barn photo as well as the Amish carriage off in the distance. I love rural photos of that area!

It would be so interesting. I would love to be there.
What delightful photos. I've never been to Lancaster County but have heard about it. I really like your photo of the horse & buggy out with the field in the foreground.
Gee, wonder what a car weighs! I wouldn't want to go over that bridge.
Love the no camera sign. I know the amish are particular about that but they are so beautiful.
Lovely photos :)
All of your pictures are lovely and the mosaics are great too. I would love to visit those parts of America one day.
Best wishes for a great week,
Natasha.

Very nice photos.
have never been there, but have heard a lot about Lancaster. Thanks for sharing your vacation.
Cute photos! I love the picture of the quilts! I've never been that far East...but I'd love to visit there, for sure!
We always enjoyed eating at Good N Plenty and the Millers Inn many years ago. Such a pretty area of the country. I love those quilts on the porch. Brings back many wonderful memories of when our children were young and we would go for a day trip. We would always purchase fresh veggies and homemade jelly and corn relish. The best!

Oh what wonderful pictures! LOVE all the flowers, and Lancaster looks like my kind of place. :)
I have only seen images of Amish country on tv! Great that you got to see it for real. I think they came originally from around these parts, (Netherlands or Germany), but it sure doesn't look like that around here anymore... LOL
