Mosaic Monday: Beautiful Hummingbirds

I was sitting on the back patio enjoying my morning cup of tea when a darling little hummingbird came to our feeder.  I, of course, did not have my camera with me, but it inspired these photos of colorful and beautiful hummingbirds for today's Mosaic Monday.

I would certainly love to take credit for the photos of these  beautiful little creatures, but alas, I found them on the web......hope you've enjoyed them!
Please visit all the wonderful participants in Mosaic Monday over at Mary's Little Red House.
Thank you for your visit and taking the time to comment.....I love hearing from you!

Hummingbirds are certainly one of Mother Nature's most enjoyable, beautiful (and busy) critters!

Dear Lenore, would you share how you made this mosaic effect? I know Picnik, Big Huge Labs and PS doesn't have the ability to do this. It is great when you want to use just one Photograph. I have just made a mosaic on PS and plan on posting soon but I like this effect too.

Kindly, ldh

The other day a hummingbird flew into the house and fluttered around the breakfast nook windows trying to get out. I opened the window to show it the way, but it just keep fluttering in one corner. It finally settled down on the sill, completely worn out and still, so I picked it up and held my hand out the window. After several seconds it hopped to a nearby tree branch. I watched for a while, but as soon as I turned to get my camera it flew away. I was very glad to see it revive!
