Do We Really Need This?

Last Sunday we went to the Long Beach Antiques Flea Market and had a great time......saw many items that we liked but my hubby insisted that we had to buy this old window.
Now I love the old shabby chippy look but we are working on getting rid of a lot of the "stuff" we have boxed in the garage and then we go and add to the "stuff".
I hope to be able to have done something wonderful with this piece and show it to you in a future post.
Have an enjoyable weekend!
Thanks for visiting my blog and I love your comments!

My sister bought a window exactly like that at an antique store when we went shopping a few years ago. When they built their new house they installed it in their office, looking out into their hall. Helps them keep an eye on the kids while they're working. And it looks great!

It's a great flea market, isn't it? I bought an old window there, too. I use it as a background in my photos sometimes. ::Jill

I would love to go to that Flea Market some day. I doubt I will but it's a wonderful thought.

Your window is fantastic! I love it. I have two old windows that I have hung out on my patio...and I never tire of them. I cannot wait to see what you do with yours.
There are a million ways to use these old windows..SUCH fun!

I have a huge stack of chippy old windows too. Asked hubby to pick me up a "few" and you should see the huge stack!! Another on my to-do list!

gorgeous window frame! there's just something about the chippy look that calls us girls names. I have one too sitting against my wall in the living room, still can't decide how to use it, but it looks wonderful right where it is too.
